"Lovely clean, warm room, hotel has a a great restaurant and some lovely fireside seating in lounge - we would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch at the restaurant! We experienced a little bit of noise on Saturday night due to the hotel’s proximity to the road and nearby pubs but it was lovely and quiet on the next night. Plenty of car park spaces to rear once you drive under the arch to the left of the property."

"Fantastic stay. Beautiful location we felt like lords of the manor. A real rustic first class hotel. Felt like we were living in upper class 1923. Food was also outstanding Jacob cooked a steak that was better than miller and carter. We will return excellent views from room 25. "
