We stayed there for a week and loved the light common area, well stocked kitchen and outdoor warm shower. We had our dog and walked to the beach twice a day. The beds were comfortable and we loved all the books, WiFi and blankets.

The house was in a great location, about 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, very clean, and well managed. Susan has done a great job decorating their house, and she was very easy to work with. Camp David is at the top of the list for our next trip to Dillon Beach!

Excellent Beach House
Clean. Well maintained and supplied. Close to beach (hilly - be ready to hike a little), small restaurant and small store (make sure to check their hours). Can get busy at the beach on the weekend, but plenty of room. Park at the house, not down at the beach. A great stay!

This house is so lovely! A lot of thought was put into providing everything you need in an organized way. The living spaces and kitchen are extremely attractive and functional. It is also exceptionally clean. It's so nice to be in the village, close to the beach and store. Will def be back.

This is a lovely property - comfy, cosy and no mold! - a real plus when staying so close to the coast. Would definitely recommend it. If you plan to cook bring all your own oils and spices, etc. (which we did) as there was not much there.

Great set up
Really comfortable and short drive or 10 minute walk to the beach. Nicely set up for our family to take day trips and then relax. Be informed there is no dishwasher, so extra work is required. Host was insistent on doing a repair during our stay which was an interruption, but a one time thing.

This property was very stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the view of the woods and ocean. Short walk to beach area or drive to beach and $10 all day in/out parking. Had all the needs in kitchen and linens. Nice quiet backyard, two decks front and back. Very Very clean house. Thank You for all you've done. Liked the fact it was towards end of street closer to nature.

This is a relaxing, welcoming, comfortable property with an easy walk to Dillon Beach.
We loved the chill vibe, well decorated, friendly, comfortable place! It was relaxing - a place where after a year of quantizing, we could visit with Colorado friends who were visiting. We hadn't seen since the pandemic started and we were all vaccinated, the place was immaculate and it was perfect. Having a shower available in the master bath is the only Ding, why it isn't 10/10. Would we return - IN A MINUTE!

Great place to stay
Loved our stay at Camp David. Very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the upstairs a lot. The only challenge for us was that we have a blind dog and the steps were a little steep. Also, a little patch of grass in the backyard would have been nice as I had to take the dogs on the street to do their job. The shower in the master bath doesn’t work very well (low pressure). These were all small issues. Mostly, really enjoyed our stay here. Access to the beach and shopping was closeby as well.

First time to Dillon Beach
2 girlfriends and I had a great time at Camp David! Beach is easy walking distance, home is very comfortable, cool neighborhood, weather was exactly what we wanted. The only reason I knocked down one star on “cleanliness” is because the pans in the kitchen were a little grimy, even after washing ourselves several times. I think it’s really more renters fault than anything else.

I have not stayed at too many VRBO's in the past and I have to say, this one was delightful. Everything was clean, in good working order and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Even though it rained almost non-stop, this was a great home to be house-bound in. It is also relatively close to the beach and store. Also, it was refreshingly quiet at night. Two things that I have to mention (they didn't bother me, but they might other people: 1. There are many stairs - just be prepared, and 2. Parking spaces are a premium.

Wonderful dog-friendly place
Camp David is a beautiful beach house. It’s very comfortable and the kitchen is to die for! We brought our own knives, and I was glad, but everything else in the kitchen was perfect. We even baked up 5 lbs of granola while there :) The porches are delightful! We didn’t use the bbq but wish we did. The yard is great. The living room is airy & spacious. I am allergic to fragrance and had a hard time with the couches, sheets, pillows, throw pillows & oven mitts, but was able to sit on the long thin bench in the living room. For whatever reason, that one was free of febreeze/air freshener/deodorizer. The owner did go through extra trouble to wash the linens with free& clear laundry detergent, but I think that years of scented products over-ruled it. There were many thoughtful touches everywhere. The fact that they are dog-friendly is a big bonus. Also the owner is very quick to respond to questions. I hope to stay there again. I will bring my own linens & blankets & pillows.
