Sky's The Limit -

Enjoy long-range mountain and Sky Valley golf course views from all 3 covered porches. As you relax in our swings or rocking chairs, you can listen to the wind moving through the trees or watch the hummingbirds fly in and around the porches looking for nectar from feeders or flowers. Cozy enough for 2 but large enough for 14 people. Memorable family reunions. Nature at its finest. Hike 2.2 miles to Rabun Bald second highest mountain in Ga, right out your front door. 70% of Rabun County is National Forest Land around us.

Each of the 3 covered porches has its own spectacular scenes. It's not about how many breaths you take....it's how many moments take your breath away! Enter the living, dining, and fully equipped kitchen on the top floor encompassing the great room with a large wood-burning fireplace. This opens to a large covered porch with a gas barbecue grill and plenty of swings and rockers. TV, DVD, surround sound, Stereo. Spacious master suite with balcony access. Half bath and laundry room are also on this floor.

The middle floor, which we call the "guest floor," has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms. 1 king entrance to covered porch, another king bedroom, 2 twins bedroom. Large family room with stone gas fireplace, tv, DVD, stereo. Guest kitchen with 2nd coffee maker, microwave, and fridge plus extra round dining table (for puzzles and cards). Covered porch with swing and rockers.

The bottom floor comprises a game room and a large bedroom with a king and queen bed. Professional Air Hockey table, Pool table, ping pong, dart boards, Tv, stereo large bar table with seating for 8 to 10, open up to yet another covered porch with spectacular valley views. The pool, Fitness room, Sauna, Hot tub, and Tennis included 1 mile to the clubhouse.

*The Sky Valley Golf Club exterior community pool and hot tub are closed in the winter months. The interior hot tub remains open year-round.

Amazing Accommodations

Very relaxing vacation
We stayed in Sky valley resort for couple of days with friends and we had a very relaxing and memorable stay overall. The house is located in a resort and the view is amazing. The house itself is very clean, plenty of room for everyone, well stocked.. you will find everything you want in there. The most thing I liked about it is Ron and Amy who were easy to contact and they responded to our messages right away. I will definitely recommend to my other friends.

Had a lovely week at sky valley! This home was perfect gathering place after day of golf to relax and have dinner all together, plenty of space and sleeping options, well stocked and comfortable linens and beds. Great games to keep teens preoccupied, campfire circle. Lots of space to be together or to hide away!

The house and view are incredible, and we had plenty of room for our group. Ron and Amy had everything ready for us upon arrival - check in and check out was too easy! Extended Family Trip
We had the most wonderful time here and 100% of that is because of this lovely home! It had EVERYTHING we needed and so much more. So much laughter and fun around the clock in the downstairs game room. THIS was the part of the house we absolutely spent the most time. Wonderful 4th of July
The views from this property are breathtaking and location is great for attending the many 4th of July week events in Sky Valley and elsewhere. Property is conveniently located in the Northern Georgia area and we easily took day trips to Clayton, GA and Highlands and Cashiers, NC.

Excellent house everything you could need for 12 people. Beautiful inside and out

Sky Valleys best kept secret has it all
The host was great and called us a couple times to assure our stay was smooth. The layout was great for a huge group of friends or 2-3 families. The views were outstanding and the game room is for children of ALL ages! Great kitchen space on two of the three floors. If you have someone who can’t do stairs, they can still enjoy the family in the top floor without any issues. We will be back!!!

Great Home
This house has all the room and all the amenities you could want. My family has stayed here several times and will continue to return. The view is wonderful, the owners are great to work with. We have never had a problem with anything. The resort has a nice golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts and exercise room. It is aso very close to lots of other activities.

Awesome Weekend
I had my 50th Birthday celebration here and the location was perfect. I invited a few ladies to the event and the cabin was very spacious and located near a local restaurant and shopping. I would recommend this location for anyone having a small group such as family, ladies retreat to use this space. The owner was so pleasant and friendly. Thank you again for allowing me to use your cabin for such a special occassion. I intend to rent it again next year for my mom's 86th Birthday Celebration.

Awesome!!!
This home was absolutely beautiful! Our family of 10 Sisters and Brothers annual family retreat was awesome! We enjoyed everything about this home. The views were spectacular! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of linen and towels for everyone. The Guys enjoyed the game room!! The pool table, ping ping table and dart game was a big hit!! very clean and the owner called to make sure we made it and had everything we needed. We would definitely book this home again!

WOW
We have been visiting Sky Valley for 17 years. This is by far the best home we have rented. The view is so far above any other. The house, having 3 levels makes it ideal for our yearly family reunion. Rocking chairs and swings on the porch is wonderful for the older members of our family and the game room is great for the kids. The house is very clean and comfortable plus is furnished with all the amenities you could want.

Spacious cozy cabin with magnificent views
Our group of mountaineers were staying over the weekend in this cabin, and we fell in love with it! The pictures don't do justice to this property. The view is truly spectacular. The cabin was very clean, well furnished, very bright and had so much space even for our large group. At the same time, it was still very cozy and homey. The cabin had everything we needed, and the owner was very responsive and great to work with. We visited the beautiful Mud Creek waterfall very close by and hiked the trail next to it. The mountain views were stunning, and we really enjoyed our time at this beautiful spot!

Poland Family Thanksgiving 2023
The property is beautiful and looks exactly as presented online. The view from the main room and decks is breathtaking! Kitchen is very well stocked. We had every piece of equipment needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The game room was a big hit with our family. We had extended family rent 2 properties at the golf course and we all gathered in the game room for cards, darts, air hockey and Saturday Football on the big screen TV. Location is perfect. Our family enjoyed shopping days at Highlands, NC and Clayton, GA. We also visited a tree farm in NC and cut Christmas trees. Yes, we will return!!

Family vacation
We initially choose this property because of the room for our entire family to be able to stay in 1 house but have since found so many more reasons now to come back and stay again. The owners have supplied everything that you could need when staying away from home. They were very helpful and had notes in every room for tv, a/c, fireplace, rec center, and local directions. We enjoyed a fire every night and huge meals with room for all to enjoy. There were 13 of us, ranging in age from 4-63, with plenty of elbow room and things to do. This may become a yearly visit for us. Thank you!

Great Weekend Retreat
Some friends of mine from church and I chose this home for a Memorial Day Weekend trip. It worked out perfectly. The home was spacious and comfortable....and quiet. We cooked most of our meals, and everything you'd need to cook and clean is included in the kitchen. We enjoyed a hike to Rabun Bald one day and also enjoyed spending some time in Dillard another evening. It was a perfect place to get away from Atlanta for a few days. Two of us brought our dogs, too, and that worked out well. They had plenty of room to run, and I don't believe we payed any deposit for the dogs.

Going back to "our mtn home"!
Just booked this "mtn home" for a month in 2016 after staying here the month of August 2015. Views are awesome, but what makes this place special is the feeling of home you get each morning waking to the songbirds and the crisp mountain breezes. Its about 15-20 degrees cooler than our customary hot & humid Florida summer mornings and muggy nights. Had 3 generations staying with us for a week, then a few other family members visited before we had the last two weeks to ourselves. Owners are great to work with as well. This is our 3rd time renting from Rosemary & Jerry...couldn't be happier to be back in one of their fabulous homes.
