"The surrounding area was scary. Inside cabin was fine accept the step up into the living bedroom space was dangerous. Curtains were needed in the kitchen area. Accessiblity would be an issue for some. Really hard to contact owners and find the cabin. Would not recommend!!"

"Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. "Property is a welcomed getaway with plenty of privacy. Cottage was immaculate and amenities were plentiful. Host provided access to kayak and dingy along with board games and outdoor propane fire pit. We will definitely return."
