This cozy detached chalet for a maximum of 6 people is located at a unique altitude of approx. 1160 meters in the village of Diex in the Völkermarkt district in the Klopeiner See - Southern Carinthia region.

The chalet offers a spacious living room with a dining table, sitting area and direct access to a balcony equipped with seating, a modern fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one of them in the basement), two bathrooms, sauna and a garden. You can park directly at the chalet.

With more than 2,000 proven hours of sunshine per year, Diex is the sunniest mountain village in Austria, is located at around 1,200 meters above sea level and offers a unique panoramic view. The area around Diex offers over 100 kilometers of marked hiking trails as well as several signposted cycling and mountain bike tours.

The well-known Klopeiner See, with its 48 meters depth and water temperature of up to 29 degrees, is the largest, best known and warmest among the 7 lakes in southern Carinthia. With Austria's only continuous water promenade, the lake is perfect for swimming and strolling. The also well-known Wörthersee, near the border with Italy and Slovenia, offers countless water sports activities, chilled lake terraces, cool events and picturesque places in summer.

In winter, the ski areas Petzen - Feistritz ob Bleiburg with 14 kilometers of slopes, Klippitztörl with 28 kilometers of slopes, the Koralpe with 18 kilometers of slopes, the ski areas Hirnkopf - Flattnitz with 8 kilometers of slopes and Saualpe - Eberstein with 1 kilometer of slopes offer lots of winter sports fun!

Directly in Völkermarkt there are plenty of shops for your daily needs, a good selection of restaurants and a public swimming pool.
