And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. "Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity."

"The house was better than expected. Very clean and easy to use. The village they live in is wonderful. Nice places to explore and great places for food and drink. Downtown wasn't far via public transport. Just remember the metro stops running at 12:30am! Ask me how I know hahaha"

"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"We loved our stay here- accodomations were perfect for 9 people, location was great to do days trips around the Netherlands but then come back to the peacefulness of the farm. Watching the cows walk back and forth to the barn was a highlight of our stay. Marga was very gracious and provided any assistance we asked for."
