"We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

"Really nice location with a great view. Some utilities upgrade would be welcomed - iron board but no iron. No large knives, just three tiny ones to cut (good luck with Watermon). Swimming pool amazing and clean. Pascale very welcoming. Badminton racquets could also be replaced, as all had snapped strings. Not too far away from Vin de Alsace route - half an hour drive.."

"Es war eine total schöne Urlaubswoche in ruhiger und angenehmer Umgebung. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Radtouren. Unsere E bikes konnten wir wunderbar geschützt unterstellen und die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht und wurde sehr sauber vorgefunden. Die grosse Terasse ist einfach mega und wurde jeden Morgen und Abend benutzt. "Elegant decor and fresh flowers on arrival made our arrival very special. This is the best presented property we have ever been lucky enough to find. Comfortable furniture and spacious rooms. Good outdoor furniture for a summer evening. Menil is a classic French agricultural village on a hilltop setting. Peaceful and calm but close to plenty of walking trails and historic settings. "My husband and I happened upon this VRBO for our anniversary trip to Colmar, France. Michel and Halima were amazing hosts. Easy to communicate with, friendly and warm. Halima let us taste fresh figs from her abundant garden and made us the most delicious mint tea and Moroccan crepes one day! The location of the house is perfect. We could easily walk to Colmar town center for shopping and food. We chose to rent a car as well to drive to surrounding areas and they had free parking available....
