However, there are many issues with the house : the pool is not usable, the bridge is unsafe, the downstairs bedroom has a weird smell and noise coming from the electrical panel, one of the windows is obstructed by an old blanket, the set of keys worked randomly and we got stuck outside once. "Charming Gite in the quaint little village of Nolay. In the heart of wine country with beautiful scenery everywhere! We were fortunate enough to be there during the wine harvest season! Too much wine…. In too short of time!!! Our host Pierre was just wonderful, very informative, helpful and we wish we could have spent more time with him! The chateau in the next village has a fantastic display of vehicles that we all enjoyed, be it bikes, planes or fire engines. Beaune was full of character."
