"We loved the outdoor space, the fire pit with a delivery of cured wood and the hot tub. The short walk to the state park walking trails was wonderful! The indoor space was small but fine for a weekend stay. Overall it was clean, but the corners could use a vacuum....lots of dead lady bugs there."

Restaurant choices were limited due to the holiday, but Penny’s diner was pretty good and they are open 24-7. We checked out a couple of Mexican restaurants and our favorite was El Bracero (get the carne asada fries).

Dexter appears to be a calm, overall quiet town that has been kept up, rather than running down like Malden has over the years.
