If you didn’t have time to purchase a toy but would still like to help, a monetary gift is ok and welcomed. The property was dirty with roaches, we expected 3 full baths and only had 1 full bath for 3 familys until the 8th day. It was super hot upstairs. The host offered the other townhome after the residents declined to stay there on our 7th day and why would I want to stay in another roach infested unit when we got home we literally bombed our rental and 3 families left 3 days early and we left 4 days early and rented a hotel half way home because we was so ready to get out of the house...I don't know if its Detroit or that house I was that ready to get of Detroit that we stayed Friday night in Kentucky instead of finishing the drive... This is by far the worst experience I have ever had by far at a rental vacation and the host tried to work with is but could not meet the expectations that were given I should have never canceled my suite hotel vacation and would not have went through this, I know we were the last rental but that didn't mean I live in a world Im not use to...I could go on for days but all I can say is thank God its over literally...

Safe But Dirty
I thought I would start with the positives. There were four beds and we slept well. There are security cameras, and it was a safe neighborhood. Unfortunately, it was dirty. The living room furniture was all broken so it was very uncomfortable. None of the TVs worked. The one in the living room was communicated that we had to unplug it and plug it back in. However, you should not have to do that every time you turn the TV on. The kitchen was filthy and the basement was filthy. It was so dirty that my friends did not want to use the basement bathroom or toys/games that were provided. There was some sort of back up in the washer drying room that made the washer and dryer unusable. And on the second night, cockroaches showed up because of a leak in the ceiling. we reported that the silverware and pots and pans were dirty. We cleaned them and the host brought more pots and pans, but they were just as dirty as the ones we had started with and we had washed the pots by now so we would've been happier with just keeping the clean pots we had. All in all they have work to be done. It has the potential to be a great stay but a lot of work.

Not so homely!
I would not recommend this property to anyone. The property has a lot of potential but needs work. I was totally disgusted that I had to kill roaches and clean and disinfect the kitchen before using it, as well as clean the bathroom and sweep the bedrooms. It was my first time doing a home rental and it was not a good experience. The property only had two reviews, I thought that perhaps it was a newer listing but that was not the case. The property lacks many of the creature comforts you probably have in your home, like mirrors and TVs in bedrooms. The home is not so homely as listed.
