"We would highly recommend this property! Very cozy and homely. The welcome pack of essentials was very much appreciated. There were six of us and two dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. All bedrooms are a good size. Easy to get to the beaches and surrounding areas. The cottage is located in very picturesque, peaceful surroundings. We instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our time there immensely. We will hopefully be back and will take our golf clubs next time!"

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. "We recently had a 4 night stay at Dovecote house. A lovely house set in a primal location of all Alnwick local amenities. Upon arrival we were surprised by the size of the upstairs,3 double rooms, one twin and 2 bathrooms, just what we needed for a group of 7 adults 1 child, a baby and a dog . There were a few problems with the main bathroom, a bath that empties on its own whilst full, a light that was difficult to turn off and on and a unit around the sink which wasn’t attached. Only downside was that the next door cottage was also a holiday home so privacy while in the amazing big conservatory with fantastic views of the countryside was limited.
