"This hotel was convenient to Old Town, about a 12-minute walk. The rooms were nice but small. Breakfast was very good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It is tucked into a series of older appartment buildings and difficult to find. But it feels like an oasis once you arrive."

The bedroom was wonderfully kept and I enjoyed every minute in and by the pool, on the nearby Borik beach and swimming in the sea. Somehow they got wind that it was my birthday the day before we left, and left a card and present in the bedroom. I used the little bit of Croatian I'd learned and hotel staff were encouraging and positive about this, though they were excellent in English, and I assume in German and...
