"The hotel is beautiful, an art deco gem. The rooms are a little run down - at least the one I was in felt that way and it was very noisy in the morning. I was also surprised that the restaurant and cafe were unable to provide a vegetarian meal beyond a mixed salad .. surely it's not that unusual these days. The staff were sweet and helpful but not that well informed for tourism, the area is interesting and more lively at night."

"Worst hotel experience we have had in Indonesia. Bath leaked on the floor, strong smell of sewer/sewer gas in bathroom and room, dirty crib mattress and crib. Dinner in restaurant was poor - we were the only customers and had to wait nearly an hour for food. Which was cold. Egg in soup was cold and undercooked. Breakfast was also bad. 30 minute wait for coffee. Half our food never came. Definitely would not ever return here. "

"We enjoyed the cleanliness and beautiful room. The Islamic nuance truly soothed our mind. We were also relieved to learn only married couple are allowed to stay. Although the breakfast was not satisfactory, we believe we would come back someday for the Islamic atmosphere, cleanliness and calming feelings we experienced at this hotel. "

"The only problem is the room facilities. From mattress to pillows, the toilet and TV, the management should consider to change all that (upgrade) . Other than that, the rest all are superb...(Services, hotel surroundings, location) especially, Beakfast spread were amazing. Many choices n delicious. All bellmen are pleasantly helpful, cheerful. Always greet with pure smile. Same goes to the front desk staff. Great services, guys. Would like to stay here again in future but hopefully by then the...
