They will not help you at all if you need to make a call or book a car. The hotel is dated and the hallways are used as storage rooms. Avoid this hotel at all costs. "

My suite was beautiful (Victoria suite) and every moment at the LaLit Great Eastern felt like a journey through time and history. The food was also good and the staff at Alfresco were helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend here for foreigners. "

But, the in-house 'pure veg' restaurant and bar is excellent, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are charming, friendly and efficient. It may not be 5* but gets an A from me. "
