"We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. "Although the weather was not perfect, we had a delightful holiday here. Tony, the hotel owner, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and activities. However, the hotel staff would need additional professional training. During our first hour at the hotel, I sustained an injury while attempting to borrow a surfboard. "As much as the location is great, the service is really appalling. I booked spa before I came in and when we went to the spa they turned us around so we had to book again. Service despite the fact numerous staff was slow and appalling. Room amenities were ok all in all ok stay"

"The property far exceeded our expectations. Everything is in perfect condition, comfortable, private, quiet and beautifully landscaped. 3 great pools- one is adults only!! Good location. Quite central despite town being closed from the quake. The internet wasn’t overly reliable so I’d recommend a local sim or roaming data. I think the wifi issues were also quake related. An unusual time to be in Vanuatu however Poppy’s provided a great accommodation and you wouldn’t even know there was a 7.3 just 2 weeks prior. "
