"We were in a spacious studio, as shown in the photos. And we knew that there was no air conditioning. BUT we did not know that we would be in a slightly below ground floor unit, with windows that could, in practice, only be opened a few inches at the top. AND THERE WERE NO SCREENS. Flying insects could and did fly in. In addition, the couch was worn. The bathroom, while very nice, lacked storage and surface area. The bed had only a foam mattress--no inner spring. "Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were quite large for a European hotel. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. Steps away from the main plaza and several outstanding restaurants only minutes away walking. I will definitely come back to Aosta and stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great stay!"

"I had low expectations of this hotel due to reviews but was very pleasantly surprised and would absolutely stay again. Can only assume poor reviews are for apartments and not rooms. We had a newly renovated suite which had a separate living area and two bathrooms. Yes you could hear music from outside but wasnt awful. We paid a supplement for the 'thinky' card as travelling with 2 year old- bit unclear what it actually covered bar a room with pureed sauces for pastilla for kids dinner? However...

"Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food choice is excellent and so well prepared. Yes its noisy at dinner and breakfast but whst do you expect when there so msny families. Hot location is true ski in/out. Rooms and generally the hotel is very tired abd could do with a lot of modernising. Wifi signal is awful. We had a family room which is joining rooms. Nice and spacious Cleaners do a thorough job but we found blood stains on the bedsheets and pillows. Beds are hard but thats typical...

"Champoluc is a great place to stay for a couple of days. We arrived early, after a very long day of travel and were greeted warmly by the staff. It is in an ideal location, right in the center of a very small village at the base of the mountains. The staff recommended the La Grange ristorante and it was excellent, great food and service, they even started dinner early for us, 7:00 pm, since most places in Italy don't start dinner until around 8:00. I would highly recommend this hotel."
