"I like the rooms and facilities and the great location on Market Square. Also surprised at how quiet it was. The elevator stopped working on the last day, but that was the only drama. "

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing: plenty of food choices and Finnish specialties including the Karelian pie (and veggie option of that even). The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with maintaining a hint of their prison history. The associated part of the building is almost a community: a gym, a spa, bakery, restaurants, shops and a funicular going downhill to the river. Highly recommended, and definitely will stay there when I visit Turku next time."

"I'm never crazy about self check-in but system worked well here. I only stopped one night for local football match so not much to report but very happy with my stay."
