"This place blew my mind! Staying in the Casbah was like stepping into a history book, but with a pool and bar. The rooms were comfortable, the location great and the included breakfast buffet a great way to start the day. Pretty good value too. My one complaint was, I felt, the staff didn’t go out of their way to help organize some day trips surrounding Kairouan that I was looking forward to. Souvenir shops around you, boumbalini (fried dough for dessert), a sandwich place (basically one of the main shopping areas) but not loud AT ALL.
