The location is excellent, close to the reservoir and it’s retaining wall for easy access to walking trails and within walking distance of the Netto supermarket. Walking maps are provided. Marcus speaks excellent English. I can recommend this rental for couples who love to walk and anyone wishing to escape the crowds of August."

Meine Versuche per Telefon Kontakt aufzunehmen wurden konsequent ignoriert und auch auf Vermittlungsversuche durch FeWo wurde offensichtlich nicht reagiert. Die Unterkunft war ok."

"Ich habe schon ein paar Mal hier übernachtet und kann es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Besonders schön finde ich die vielseitige Saunalandschaft, den Pool und das leckere reichhaltige Frühstück. Auch in den Betten schläft es sich sehr gut. Das Badezimmer hat eine große Dusche und es ist alles sehr sauber. Zum Empfang gibt es eine Flasche kostenloses Wasser. "

"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"A pretty and well located cottage, with outdoor seating area, just below the forest edge. Good sized living area, with well equipped kitchen; efficient shower in the bathroom and a small bedroom. Conveniently located for sightseeing of the many castles and attractive old towns in the area, and for walking in the Thuringian forest. Supermarket and open air pool only a few minutes walk away. Herr Umbreit, the owner, is very helpful and great for information on the area. "

"The property is in an excellent location for walking to the centre of town. It has its own paid parking which makes it easy for people with cars. The hotel is clean and has very nice staff. They have a nice restaurant and bar on site. Breakfast options are very nice too. Would definitely visit again. "
