"Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. I will visit Montanita again, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than Balsa. "

"The hotel has very nice grounds and nice view, the closes place is Montanita which is about 10 minutes by bus. When I arrived I was the only guest. The help does not speak any English . The owners are very nice. They come there for the weekend. I had problems with Mosquitos, no hot water. No water, and no electricity. The room I stayed in had very small windows. They have a great breakfast. You should come here only if you have a car"

"Although I know the place is just for spending the night my family and I believe there is a lack of quality in the minimum expected standards: The charged us for being 2 adults and 2 kids, still there are no enough amenities and linen for all of us.
