"This hotel is beautiful and in the most gorgeous setting of the historic centre of San Marino. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and the hotel restaurant has great food with an amazing view. The car is parked at their sister hotel in an underground garage and you can either walk or get the hotel groups private buggy to take you for access. "The hotel receptionist was lovely and very helpful, we parked in the hotel parking which was very easy. The hotel rooms themselves could use a little updating but as we were only there for one night it didn’t matter too much. They also wouldn’t recommend us anywhere to eat as they have a restaurant. Generally it was clean and comfortable with a/c and we enjoyed our stay!"

Please note that this hotel is located at the top of the mountain past multiple staircases. If you have large suitcases like us, make sure you call the hotel because they have a free shuttle that can pick you up from the bus stop in San Marino,"

"The place itself was fine for our needs; however, I do have concerns over the welfare of the animals on site. The donkey enclosure was small, full of faeces, and had no fresh grass for the donkeys. There are numerous birds gulls? a rabbit, at least 3 ducks all in an enclosure, with very water. Not a natural or good environment for them!!! I will be looking at animal welfare laws in San Marino, and contacting the appropriate people over this. "
