"My fiancée and I had an absolutely flawless week at the Escape resort, wanting to make sure we document this as a recommendation for other travellers. Let me begin by saying that, owing to the fact that I selected the resort as the place I would make my proposal, it will now have a special place for me and my fiancée personally - we're already talking about a future visit. This wouldn't be the case were it not for the exceptional care and assistance given by staff in helping me arrange various extras (private dining, picnic trips, snorkelling etc). If you want a place that will help with arranging such experiences look no further. Regarding activities, you'll always find space at the main pool, and the personal pool really is a nice touch. Kayaking is free and good fun, and we cannot recommend the snorkelling excursion offered by the resort more highly - fantastic value compared to what you'll find offered online elsewhere on the island and we caught some stunning snaps of turtles ( other marine life). Food and beverages offered were all great. Can't for the life of me understand any past reviews on here about portion sizes, as if you needed more you could simply ask for it! The fact that everything is offered a la carte actually improves the quality I would argue. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend booking your stay at the Escape, and would like to thank the staff there for helping provide such a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning at some point! "

"Cocos was a beautiful resort. The reviews don’t lie that you will get your exercise in. Some rooms require lots of climbing and steps. We figured we needed it, but don’t forget anything. Food was good not fantastic, but for an all inclusive I think it was perfect. Drinks were great. We spent lots of time on the beach (106 steps you weren’t running back and forth.) No beach service, but it was only steps away. Views were unbeatable, sunsets breathe taking. We would consider a trip back here. Our safe never worked, but our belongings were fine, towels weren’t always the easiest to get, but again we figured it out. Gift shop is very limited and very expensive if you think you might need it bring it. Great entertainment a couple nights! "

"This property has an ocean side and a bay side. The winds were blowing on the ocean side everyday in March, of course. So the bay side was a great alternative. This is a great place with very friendly and helpful staff. We can’t wait to go back."
