"We had a delightful stay. Location was perfect, on a quiet side street close to the main pedestrian shopping street. Staff were great. Room clean and spacious. Check in and check out were efficient. It’s a boutique hotel and we stayed in their adjoining unit, which was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good and Charlotte made eggs from scratch. The only downside is it didn’t start until 8:30. We are early risers but we adjusted. I definitely recommend this hotel. "

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Lilly's Cottage is in a great location to explore western Crete both north and south coast. The sea and the mountains are very close by and there are lots of places to explore. Lily was very welcoming and provided us with homemade dishes which was really useful after a long day out exploring. Our 6 year old son really enjoyed spending hours exploring the garden and olive grove. Beware the rip tides on some of the beaches on the north coast. There are no signs so read the guide books.
