"We couldn't stay the first night at the Golden Temple Boutique, & stayed instead at the Golden Temple Villa. Joey of the Golden Temple Boutique warmly welcomed us. The bed in our room was beautifully decorated with fresh flower petals. For our first full day in Siem Reap, Joey arranged a private car & an English speaking guide to take us to Angkor Wat. While we were away, the staff moved our suitcases to the Golden Temple Boutique. Seamless! The guide was very knowledgeable about Angkor Wat. We walked through 3 temple areas. Each time, we arrived at an exit / entrance, the hotel driver met us, and offered us, in the vehicle, a refreshing cold wet facecloth, a bottle of cold water & a chance to cool down, before driving us to the next temple area. Before we went to Siem Reap, we arranged, through Joey, a private car to meet us at Siem Reap airport & one to take us back to the airport when we left. Joey also arranged a birdwatching trip, by boat, on the second day. It is easy to walk past the Golden Temple Boutique & not notice it. The entrance into the hotel, once you find it, is a calm & serene oasis, with running water, beautiful plants & flowers. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, & we enjoyed other meals. Our room was large, well appointed & very clean. The staff, especially Joey, were wonderful & kind. We would love to stay again at the Golden Temple Boutique. Truly, a home away from home."

"Very very pleased with this property from the ever accommodating front staff, to the clean very spacious room. The hotel staff takes the gold medal here, anything we needed or wanted they provided - we wanted a spontaneous trip to the floating village, done, driver was there in 10 mins. Tuk tuk driver? Easy, one right out front ready to take us anywhere we wanted. Great experience . The rooms are clearly sound proof as I heard nothing at night. "

Based on location alone, it is a bargain, but coupled with the quality of the hotel, the staff and food, it is absolutely perfect. Breakfast was divine and if you have a chance, take advantage of the restaurant for lunch and or dinner - you wont be disappointed. Special mention to Mr Khun who was our driver.
