"I booked this property but I was assigned by the front desk to the sister property across the street. Hotel Playa because supposedly it was quieter. El Flamenco seems to attract young, loud, party oriented travelers. This is a family owned group of properties including a restaurant. They seem to save Hotel Playa rooms (about7-8 rooms) for guests’ overflow This review is for Hotel Playa.Both properties are old and very run down. "Hotel grande, buenas piscinas y personal amable, .... pero ya está. Un buffet muy escaso y la única protección para el covid era que la gente se ponga mascarilla, mucha gente por todos lados en el comedor y la comida no viene tapada ni te la sirve el personal del hotel, es decir, un buffet en el que la gente coge lo que quiera como ha sido toda la vida. Habiendo varios salones para comer, solo hay abierto uno para tanta gente. La bebida te la sirven cuando te sientas, pero si quieres más, ya...

"Hotel was very good value for money, tranquil,pleasant. There were so many (overpriced) pizza restaurants we could easily have thought we were in Italy. Hard to find a reasonably priced Spanish food restaurant,but we did, dead opposite. The other 3 we tried were well overpriced, over decorated and each poor on comfort (4 people at a 2 person square table, no option) and low standard of cuisine"

"Apartment accommodation was very good, overall emphasis was towards the Spanish pensioners who were with "Imerso" packages. Buffet meals were very much geared to that market, limited choice and in the main very basic. Otherwise, good location for time of year and good accommodation."
