"It was just wonderful. We were looking for a place where we could regain our strength and Le Torricelle gave us a paradise surrounded by nature, kind souls, peacefulness and rest. It is a remote place bathed in sunlight and good air. Whenever we felt the energy to go and explore the surrounding areas, we did not have to go and search far: the sea is reachable within 1 hour by car, beautiful small villages invite to walk and look at all of these old houses and castles and a good coffee is waiting...

"What a great family-run farm. We ate dinner there both nights and enjoyed incredible meats grown on the property (the 1 kilo steak and wild boar sausage are highly recommended). Plus, the property has a great mix of animals to walk around and see (horse, donkeys, boar, turkeys, pheasants, chickens, ducks, geese) and a very friendly sheep dog Bobo who was super friendly and nice. There is a fantastic and dramatic off road 6 minute drive from the main road to the house which is perched in isolation on the top of the hill with spectacular “Siena Hills” type views. "This place is right up high in uniquely beautiful countryside. It takes some getting to but is utterly worth it. The buildings are very atmospheric and the views were simply outstanding. The accommodation has all you really need and even a pool. Go in September to try the figs/plums/grapes. Don't miss the quail and other wildlife. Me and my son James loved it and will return soon."
