"Very near to train station (but not loud, train is end of the line so not passing through traffic). Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Easy walk to old town area and great views. Bus to the castles picks up right across the street by the train station. Room was spacious and clean. Room stayed comfortably warm in the winter. "

The bathroom in my deluxe room was very 90’s…I wouldn’t normally expect a shower in a bath for an upgrade room, The Spa is the stand out feature of this hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains…particularly at dusk. Very relaxing. The hotel is very much a family hotel. I personally found the dinner options very limited…4 mains and one desert option. "We were warmly greeted by Uche(sp). She showed us our apartment which was large and well equipped. Food items to prepare were waiting for us in the kitchen: pasta, sauce, bread, juice, beer. The farmhouse garage area is like a museum with sleighs and old farm equipment. The bathroom was large. There was a washing machine, but we were asked not to use it. Not sure why.
