"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. "We were traveling in Sri Lanka for almost 4 weeks. We wanted a more expensive and more luxurious hotel for our last nights. That's why we choose Dolphin Beach. "The Sanctuary is hidden gem in the Wanathavillu town. The accommodation was very comfortable and the rooms spacious. "beautiful serene hotel directly facing the lagoon. We enjoyed very much staying there, the complimentary foot massage and lovely views. the pool looked stunning, even though we did not swim. we would like to see more lagoon activities - ie kayaks and paddle boats for rent from the hotel."

"We loved staying at this hotel and found the setting and scenery very beautiful. the hotel consists of little bungalows inside the forest, right next to the lake. I would like to see more information about the hotel services to be more readily available in the rooms and public areas (ie spa & other facilities). the pool should be renovated and enlarged. Also the hotel should provide some paddle boats and kayaks for rent so that people can enjoy the beautiful lake."
