"Magnificent traditional hotel overlooking Inle lake. Serene and calm. Staff were smiley, helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The gardens and estate were immaculate. A massage at the spa was worth every penny. Food was delicious and varied. Attention to detail second to none. "The hotel was convenient for the airport. However, it is obviously about fleecing customers. The TV in our room was a museum piece CRT model. There wasn't even a kettle for making a cup of tea. The reception area was infested with mosquitoes. I'm not kidding. The restaurant where we had a below par breakfast was also infested with mosquitoes. A horrible place, which in my opinion, should only be booked as a last resort or if desperate for a place to sleep for a night or a few hours before a...
