"Stayed in 6/8 sleeping chalet. Has 3 bedrooms 2 with 2 singles, 1 small room with bunk bed. Lounge area very small. Would not recommend for more than 6. Well equipped it tiny kitchen area part of lounge. No oven. But dishwasher, fridge with small freezer. Microwave with grill. Lots of pots, pans, cutlery, peeler, bottle opener, etc. Checking in strange as reception does not open until 3pm weekends 5pm weekdays. Do not get there before as you will not get your room key! "The Gran Carlina is well situated in town and had free parking which was a bonus. The exterior of the hotel is in a very bad condition and needs major renovation. We were seriously concerned what the inside would be like! The interior was better but dated and a little tired, the same with the bedroom but it was clean. Breakfast when the hotel is not busy was fine but one morning the restaurant was busy and the staff struggled to keep hot dishes replenished. We had to wait 20 minutes for...

Cozy and secluded chalet

"A comfortable and well-equipped rental. It had everything imaginable in terms of kitchenware, recreational materials (games, cards), tourist brochures, cleaning materials, and bathroom supplies. The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. The VRBO English site indicated no extra charge for this. It seems that the French site did. This is a serious oversight/problem. Beware users of the English website before you book! However, Corinne was very amenable and understanding about this issue and we resolved it amicably. Overall, the accommodation is very good. And visiting such a beautiful volcanic landscape was an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Merci, Corinne. "
