We walked to the shuttle on a beautiful morning and Mont St Michel was spectacular. I would definitely recommend visiting early in the day or late afternoon to avoid crowds. "We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."
