It was a semi-legal floating bar about 1 km off the coast of Mathiveri Island in the Maldives. Then one day it sank while the owner was on the island. Now it's a snorkel site, and an impressive one. Free dive about 7 meters down and you can swim around and through the vessel, coming across plenty of colorful marine life and bar supplies left just the way they were! It's an easy boat ride (10 minutes) from the pier on Mathiveri Island. #underwater #shipwreck

"I was unable to go to the property since since I tried to contact the property before my stay about a week in advance and did not receive any response until about 10hours before I was supposed to fly out. "This place seems like somebody used to care but not any more. Despite prior notice there was no-one to meet us off the ferry as the guy had fallen asleep. He then walked us to the place, photocopied our passports with his phone and someone nodded to our room. That was the last we saw of anyone in charge. We had paid for breakfast but there was no sign of that or any facilities to provide it. The room itself was dirty, empty for a long time and clearly just given a quick clean 5 minutes before...
