"A really lovely lodge in the best location in Cape Mclear, it had the most amazing chef and restaurant and lovely gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s also felt very safe. The room was a little tired and bathroom needed to be a little cleaner, however this is a country that has very limited resources so it was always going to be different to a western and more developed experience. It’s definitely the place to stay in this beautiful corner of Malawi! "

"Pleasant lakeside cabins; very responsive staff; good prices; fantastic views of the lake. Beach consists of rocks; access road poor; located in a village which can be noisy. Owner very pleasant and accommodating. Clean, and would stay again, but not appropriate for a "luxury" lakeside stay."

"Das Safari Camp lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine komplett durchdachte, sehr saubere, komfortable und schöne Anlage mit schönem Aufenthaltsbereich. Das Frühstück und Essen ist hervorragend. Die Lodge wird hervorragend geführt mit großer Akzeptanz zu den Einheimischen Angestellten. Die von Jonathan, einer der Angestellten, geführte Tour durch sein Dorf werden wir nicht vergessen.
