"Overall, it was a positive stay and right next to the entrance of Petra, which was very convenient. One minor inconvenience was that in the evening, there was an issue with the electricity and lights (electricity) flicked on/off many times - during dinner and when I was back at the room. I was informed that it was an issue with the generator and it was resolved. Besides this minor inconvenience, I recommend it and would return. "

"As my review indicates, this is a good property. It is situated on a hill directly opposite the Shobak castle. Walking there takes 30 minutes. If you have a car or are with a tour, the location is fine. Shobak itself is a very small, mostly agricultural place with nothing to do, and the hotel is a couple of kilometers out of town. So, don’t go there without some kind of transportation and don’t expect entertainment or shopping nearby. But, the hotel is totally fine."

"This hotel was the perfect place to base myself for exploring Petra. I received a free upgrade to a bigger room on arrival with a gorgeous view out over the valley. The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main street of Petra which I thought might have been a bit disappointing but proved to be great respite. The Bedouin dinner experience whilst the sun was setting is not to be missed! The hotel staff were very helpful in assisting to organise bus transfers to Aqaba and there...
