Also, we were told we must pay the extra fee (in cash, in the room) even though we paid for the room online ahead of time with our US credit card."

My dad felt very safe and comfortable there. I highly recommend Cabanas el Jardin if you are going to Valdivia. My dad fell at home and the daily breakfast was delicious !! "
