"Tenuta Cusmano was a highlight in our 11 day trip to Italy. It's an easy drive from the Rome Ciampino airport. Grottaferrata is a charming town, just a few short minutes from Tenuta Cusmano. We took a taxi to the neighboring town of Frascati everyday to catch the train into metropolitan Rome. The train was easy to navigate, and allowed us to leave our car at Tenuta Cusmano every day, so as to avoid the ZTLs. We stayed three nights. "There was a bit of a hiccup with check-in. I did not read the extremely fine print on my booking information and did not realize I had to pre-arrange check-in with the property. Also, they did not e-mail me to ask when I would arrive as other properties have done, so we had to call and wade through a bit of a language barrier to check-in. "Very good value hotel with a family run feel. Convenient location in walking distance to all the sights. Could maybe do with a lick of paint here and there, and maybe replace broken stuff like sinks, but I feel I got what Germans call a good Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
