"Like the name says this is a mountain resort. You will have a very windy Road up the mountain to the resort, but the drive is worth it. Great views. Our stay was in October and we were one of two couples at the resort so very quiet. The restaurant was not open when we got to the Resort. We didn’t expect to have a meal there. "The house is beautiful, with lots of seating areas, good sized bedrooms and a lovely garden and terraces. These combine great views of the sea and mountains, with sheltered places to eat and cook outside. The area of the Mani the house is in is dramatic and surprising, and Kiparissos is a great base to explore it all. Last but not least there are two delightful beaches within 5 minutes walk, both often deserted and with lovely clear water. We look forward to returning!"

"Super cool apartment in the old wall city. NOTE: There is no reception and you need to contact Casa Palma for arrival to arrange meeting for keys and payment. It's like finding a apartment in an ancient maze, but amazing once you find it. We didn't know about contacting the host, we were horrified that it was just closed for the season, but once we called, it was very worth the extra trouble, best stay in Greece."

"If you're under the age of 40 stay somewhere down the road in the main town of Gytheio!! My boyfriend and I (age 30 and 29) felt way too young and energetic for this sleepy hotel. Upon arrival, there were two stains on the outdated, cheap hotel which is not up to standard for a hotel listed as 4 stars. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. They used our balcony as a storage unit for towels and sheets which we found rude. Although we booked the cheapest room, this is not acceptable. Misleading...

"This hotel is a wonderful retreat. It’s very relaxing with beautiful scenery. Close enough to go explore or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. The pools are beautiful, the gardens are wonderful. The landscaping is fabulous. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. It was amazing. But nothing compares to the breakfast each morning. I’ve never seen anything like it. The food was absolutely scrumptious. This is a wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay in again."
