"The stay was an utter disappointment. Very very noisy guests, loud music, screaming and shouting and loud parties. Impossible to relax and enjoy the mountains. Some guests were even driving up and down with music blasting from their cars. Check in was good and security at the gate very friendly. Depending on your unit you have to carry your luggage from your car a fair distance to the chalet. They should get golf carts to assist with this. The resort should really clamp down on noisy guests day...

"The staff at this place are phenomenal!! We had only booked this for one night, but ended up staying for 4 nights because we all took turns with the stomach flu. There is a pharmacy connected with the hotel, which was wonderful. Each morning when I would go down to extend for another night, they would ask how we were doing, give us water bottles and ask if there was anything extra they could do to help out. Across the street was a small grocery store that we could pick up things.. Uber Eats...

"The room was extrrmely clean and the bathroom looked new. The property is lovely and geared up for kids, and large families. The views are outstanding. This place is not for a couples, romantic weekend away.its not a quite place to rest and relax. Kids screaming in pools, running around playing. if you looking for tranquity this is not it. The restaurant and receptions are closed until the first week of december so if you are self catering its fine but the makeshift restaurant is not great....

"This hotel is located just across the street from the beach, which was great. My room was not sea facing, but I still had a bit of a sea view from the side. The street does get busy with a lot of car traffic & people so you have to be aware of your surroundings & your belongings, esp. when walking around. "The hotel was really nice. The staff did help us in many areas but even though they lived in Durban their knowledge was fairly limited about the area. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone. When I asked about groceries or getting a sim card they didn'r really know where I should go. Eventually a porter told me the best place to go which was only a 5 minute walk.
