"Lovely country lodge with private rooms. We liked the kitchen gardens at each chalet. Pleasant (if rather cold!) swimming pool. Enjoyable dinners and the sundowner balcony was sublime. Overall memory is of every single member of staff going the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. "

"Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected. "Lovely location. Spacious rooms spread out overlooking Etosha. Food ok, buffet expensive for dinner especially when they rundown the options towards the end of the sitting. We had to ask them to make more of a chicken dish as we don’t eat red meat. Staff on the whole very good, although the lunch time crew seemed disinterested when we arrived at 2pm. Breakfast much better. Rooms could do with a refresh. "

Der Ventilator ist ein ganz einfaches Standgerät ohne tatsächliche Wirkung. Das Wasser im Pool und auch im Zimmer (Waschbecken und Dusche) stammt direkt aus dem Kunene, kaltes Wasser gibt es nicht. "Disappointing stay. The deck overlooking the Kunene River which is featured in the advertisement for the property is stunning. However, nothing else lived up to these expectations. Our booking showed a hotel room and when we arrived we were shown to what was apparently a "guides" room. The room was small, dark and dingy and was closed with a lock on a latch. For the less money at other locations in the area we received a far better deal. We asked to be moved as this was not good for the amount...
