"Two separate one nights stays, August 2017. Both bookings were for a family suite. For the second night we were asked if we could split and use two double rooms instead, which was not a problem for us. Rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. The summer heat made the rooms hot but not unbearable. Location is on a nice quite road a steady 10 minute walk from the centre of Gyor. Breakfast excellent, we had to leave early on the second stay and we were provided with a special early...

"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."

"Residential area, quiet. Staff were great, room well equipped. Only a few minutes from public transport and the city centre. Generally had a slightly worn look - furniture, etc but ok. Fridge in room was very noisy 24/7 and the air-con didn't work effectively - in need of a service perhaps? Breakfast was very basic, eggs cold (cooked for 7am?), if there was any left. I was ok with the stay especially with the very helpful and friendly staff."
