"Overall, the Sugar Beach is a lovely place to stay in Traverse City. My only complaint would be with the breakfast. They were not even worth eating. Coffee was good though."

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You have to pay to park even if youre staying at the hotel which i found odd, but it was $15 a day. Many food and activity options available in the hotel. They werent great at advertising though because i didnt even know there was a ropes course until we got home and i had to call them. Kids loved the kid room with 3 beds and everyone loved the water park of coarse. 4 out of 5 of us left pretty scraped up from the pool bottom. Overall great stay and we...

"The front desk was very accommodating, and we were grateful. Our room looked out to the pool area and there was a fun group of adults enjoying themselves. However, we had to be up quite early, and the noise level was pretty high. We made a call explaining our situation, and she not only moved us to a different room, but didn’t make us pay the extra amount for having a room facing the bay. We slept great, and truly appreciated them working with us. "

"I loved how inviting the hotel was. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to have pizza delivered right to our door which was so fun!!! Definitely will be staying here our next trip into the city(: "

"My husband and I really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. The location feels very secluded, but is still close to everything. The trek down to the river dock and the cute nature trails were such fun features. "

"Bed was comfortable. Hotel in general was clean and welcoming. The pool temp was perfect. The hot tub jets are kind of all over the place, not like typical hot tub jets. Breakfast was mediocre. Either the cereal or the milk tasted off; even with use by dates farther away. Waffles were good. No protein options, was really hoping for some bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, the omelets...something to go with my waffle. They had biscuits and gravy but im not a fan of that personally. Bedding was clean and fresh. Room was clean-no odors or anything."
