"The initial room was super small and a bit smelly. Surely something you won't expect at a 4/5 stars hotel. They moved me to a better one after I complained and the lady responsible rudely told me that those were the rooms they give to people paying "lower rates" through systems such as hotels.com and that she would have moved me if I had booked through them directly but as they had to pay commissions to the website that was the room they offered. "Wonderful boutique hotel. Reception staff were discreet but very helpful when engaged. Elegant breakfast included. Our suite seemed a little dated with carpeting and older feel but was comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was big and modern. Amazing location as well. I would definitely return but would ensure to get one of the more updated rooms. The estate prosecco and macarons were an elegant touch."
