"A lovely stay in order to go to a concert nearby: this was a very good room, with a very impressive bathroom, and it's own entrance. Despite being there during some iffy weather, we had a good time exploring the surrounding area."

Althiugh there was no food or drink on the premises, there were many good places fof eating and drinking in the same area. Mmy only complaint woukd be that 30 minutes of free wifi is not long enough. "The Bear of Burton was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Was in Ramsdown room which was the most beautiful and comfortable room I have ever stayed in with cute bear details! Easy walking distance from Christchurch train station (1.6 miles) and to sites around the town. DInner and breakfasts were fantastic and delicious! Best gin and tonics. Bed was comfortable and property was quiet. Had the best rest of my trip here and was sad to leave the luxury room and food. Location also holds craft...

"Great little stay. Tasteful bright room with really good amenities. We arrived too late on Sunday night for eating in the pub but had had a great take out from Thai restaurant in nearby Christchurch. Dog enjoyed stay too! "
