"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

The location was ideal, with easy access to Lusty beg and Castle Archdale. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which had beautiful views across the lake. The host was extremely helpful responsive and went above and beyond in making our stay even more pleasant. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway."

"Staff looked fed up. Checkin was slow and when I said was to attend funeral, no basic condolences given. Other staff in restaurant not really on the ball. I tried to get attention to buy another bottle of wine but gave up after staff walked past twice. Breakfast staff excellent and food also excellent. Promote your breakfast staff to train and supervise other staff and you will get 5 stars. Hotel is clean and comfortable but rooms too hot and no thermostat which is strange. Overall 3 stars plus."
