"This is a good choice for travellers as it’s clean, quiet and comfortable and close to the bus and ferry terminals and with in easy walking distance for sightseeing. Rooms are not large, but they are comfortable. Wifi is good and the breakfast, though not extensive, is enjoyable. The owners and staff obviously take pride the their establishment."

"Everything was ok except that outside my room were dogs barking all night long making it impossible to sleep quitely. Then it was was some birds on the roof making noise again. If you got to this hotel, stay away of room 8208. In the morning I went to complain to the reception desk and the didn’t react to my comments. No apologies, nothing. Very disappointed. In an overall, not such a good night of sleep."

"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"This property is a beautiful area, surrounded by nature. It’s a very pretty Resort. Unfortunately the property needs to be kept up better. Over the years it has become old and deteriorated, they need to do a better job to maintain it fix what coming apart. Overall from the outside, beautiful, but once you started to see it needs slit if work and they aren’t doing a good job to maintain and a bit of lack in cleanliness. Lots os super webs everywhere. Staff was good and friendly. Thank you "

"It's a good hotel to rest and eat something while you are traveling from one part to other of Uruguay. The location isn't a touristic place, so you will be 100% of the time in the hotel, that's correct, but standard!"

"Perfect for a few days in Colonia. Near to a nice and clean beach. Good breakfast, could be better, but good enough. "
