"Good hotel overlooking the lake. The staff were great & really looked after us. We ate in the restaurant at night & the food & wine were excellent. Good breakfast, the only downside was the coffee which wasn't good. Overall we would stay here again. "

"We stayed here 2 nights. 1.5 stars is more realistic. At $70usd per night it is overpriced like most properties in Nuwara. We had problems with no tv channels (second night same problem but then a new sky box was put in and we had tv, why wasn't this done the first night?),leaking roof in bath area, room safe didn't work, curtain had a foul smell coming from it and the whole place felt grungy. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favour and pay extra to stay in one of the nicer...
