She greeted us with a warm welcome, helpful suggestions, and freshly baked bread, jams, and cheese for breakfast our first morning! "This hotel was in a convenient location for my meetings. However, the actual hotel building is quite old. Check In was extremely slow - it took me a full 30 minutes from arriving at Reception to getting my room key. - there were only 2 people in front of me and there were no problems. "This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. "The hotel was comfortable. Breakfast timings show starting at 0700 but it is in fact 0800. I was on the way to a christening so I had to miss breakfast. It took over half an hour to book out which almost prevented me from getting to the christening at all."
