"There was a problem at check in - I had to send and resend the confirmation from Expedia. The room was run down and dimly lit, and the bathroom door didn't close. We were tired from a long trip, and thought we might eat at the hotel restaurant. We went to check it out and were met by a very rude waitress who told us to "Get out!". We said we knew they were not open yet (we were half an hour early) but wanted to have a look and possibly see a menu. "You can't see a menu. Get out!", she snarled....

"Really enjoyed our two night stay here in July 2023. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for the shops, restaurants and beaches of Cambrils. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. I didn’t have lunch or dinner so can’t comment on them. The reception and ground floor area was really nice with plenty of space to sit. The swimming pool is a decent size and the water (which I think was chlorinated salt water but I may be wrong on that) was warm. All in all I would...

"I enjoyed the gardens around the property; the building itself was gorgeous! However, my door did not automatically lock even after I was given a new key card, and the bathroom had an odd smell that persisted even after I had left the doors open to air it out."

"Very clean, large and modern room but the bed was very hard and the room was noisy due to the volume of other room doors as they close and children screaming in the corridors - but this is a resort so screaming kids is probably to be expected. The staff could do more to explain the dining situation on arrival and there were far too many people there for the number of staff."

"Great visit to Best Hotel Cambrils. Food was great with plenty of options for everyone. The beach was such a short walk from the hotel. The rooms have a mini fridge inside them to keep your drinks cool. The hotel is situated In a quieter location compared to Salou or Cambrils. The hotel always looked clean and tidy and the large dining area was very nice. There are bus stops just outside the front of the hotel which will take you to Salou/Cambrils/Portaventura world theme park. The bus is €2.10...

"Lovely hotel, right beside the beach. We were given a room looking out on the pool area and the beach. Beautiful sea view. Food in the hotel was very good, even though we didn’t book inclusive we had our breakfast there ever morning and also had some of our evening meals there. Friendly helpful staff."
