The breakfast is spectacular and the owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough. Just be aware that there is no elevator and there is a flight of steps up to the room. Not an issue for us, we loved the Aetoma."

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed to be required to pay in cash upon checkout. There was even a sign that said they accepted credit cards but she was insistent on cash. Wiped out my cash supply and due to transaction fees and exchange rates cash is much more expensive for travel. Found this to be typical in Greece, however,...

"The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, walkable to all the sights in Nafplio Town. It is a very beautiful town and we will definitely return. It is an elegant traditional boutique hotel. Loved the small pool for a few short laps when not busy although it was very cold (late October). "Stayed three nights during our fist visit to Greece. Finding this hotel on foot was a bit of a challenge, but its lofty location gives it a beautiful view of the city & harbor. The staff was extremely helpful with advice and arrangements, and breakfast was outstanding every day. Would definitely stay here again."
