"First trip to Andorra - big old complex with cavery style dining - bit of a battle come dinner/breakfast and the bar was nice but barman knew no English or much about wine/cocktails. Suite rooms were great - spacious and well equipped, though did find a deceased bed bug. Parking a bit of a hassle but under cover at least. Decor was dark walls and dazzling LED strip lighting - aquired taste. Staff were friendly. "

"Right next to the chairlift and site office, with a large variety of restaurants and ski rental shops within the building complex. The room was just sufficient for us (2 adults and 2 kids) - the room on the top floor was nice with a separate bed in the attic. Reasonably quiet, as we asked, but rather noisy from 8pm until midnight. Staff could be more friendly (though they were efficient). Ask for parking arrangements in advance... "

"The Solana Apartments is very near the Funicamp telecabine in Encamp whizzing you right up to the top of Grandvilara ski area. It is very clean and had all I needed including the washing up accessories not usually provided. the staff were great., Breakfast was included with hot food too. A supermarket was a short walk away and there were machines for drinks and chocolate snacks in reception. Ski lockers provided. "The apartments are in a great location with a Supermarket, ski hire & Hunters bar underneath them. However, the general noise of any reasonable family was ridiculous, scrapping chairs, beds, even just walking across landings was so loud. Sleep was impossible most nights without disruption! Also, beware 'type' booked, type A is a 1 bedroom with sofa bed for other guests & NOT what the pictures on Expedia show, that is a type C, this made a huge difference to comfort as sofa bed uncomfortable &...

"From the start to the finish this place was exception. Clean, comfortable and a real pity we couldn't stay longer. Really nice folk who run the place. Jill even helped us with a map of some walks that we could do in the area."
